Edible Underground is a true gift to the Frenchtown Community. All of their meals are made with love & with the finest ingredients, including many items sourced locally. They understand the connection between small businesses & the communities in which they are situated. EU has been a generous supporter of numerous local community causes including The Open Door Community Pantry, where they drop off freshly prepared meals each week for individuals & families in need. As the Mayor of the Borough of Frenchtown I am honored to have Edible Underground as a member of the small business community & a part of the tight knit fabric that makes Frenchtown truly special.

I don’t even know where to begin. I absolutely love everything about Edible Underground. The food will hook you, no doubt about it, but the generous and lovely people will make the entire experience delight. I found them in the midst of the pandemic because I wanted to support a small, local business and i’m so thankful i did! I now don’t know what i would do without them. The food is like a warm hug and so are the ladies(female owned and operated!) Every meal feels and tastes like the best cook in your family just handed you a to-go container. Seriously I have had visceral reactions to so many of the items. It’s like i was transported right back to my grandmother or aunt’s house. The portions are more than generous and i get at least 2 servings out of each meal. I Promise, you will not regret ordering this food. You will taste the love and care put into each recipe just for you. Thank you so much, Edible!

Eating anything from Edible Underground is like having an out of body experience.

We have been loyal Edible Underground patrons from the beginning for so many reasons: delicious meals, the freshest ingredients and the large variety of choices every week. Weekly dinners are now stress-free and a true joy.

My wife heard about EU a few years ago from friends so we tried it. Since then, it’s become part of our meal planning routine nearly every week. Meals are always delicious and reheat well. I like that there is a variety available within every ordering window, but also that they rotate in some of our “favorites” every so often. A true lifesaver during the peak of the pandemic, when the last thing I wanted to do was step foot into a grocery store! Highly recommended and an excellent value, IMO (we often get two portions out of one meal kit).

About 3 years ago a friend told me about an underground “soup club”, where I had to know someone to “get in”. I am still so thankful every single week to my “in”. Everything that Edible Underground makes is absolutely divine. Plus, they give the best hugs (when we were able to freely hug) & they always greet you with a smile.

Edible Underground is a culinary delight that feeds the belly & soul. They have been a godsend for these crazy weeks when zoom meetings seem to never end & going to the grocery store is even more problematic than ever. The menus have delectable options from lighter fare to comfort food & delicious main courses. There are always vegetarian choices which are incredible & dessert is not to be missed. Fresh ingredients all around, artfully & lovingly prepared twice a week. The EU crew prepares their food with a deep love of their community, always with a warm smile & encouraging word. There are not enough positive things to say about this service. You won’t be disappointed!

Edible Underground uses a variety if spices that makes their food not only good, but also interesting. Two of my favorites are the carrot-ginger soup & the stuffed cabbage. Their apple dumplings are pretty spectacular also.

Jennifer & Edible Underground is the live-in chef we all wish we had. Their food is delicious but down-to-earth & gives you the best tastes & feelings of a well-crafted homemade meal. It’s healthy, it’s dangerously easy to order every week, and their care for the customer is evident in every dish.

I am a long time client of Edible Underground & find their food to be of such great comfort to me & my family. They are a positive, caring & warm presence in the community. EU gives back in ways that are intangible.

I am a decent cook & love to be in my kitchen, so my standards are pretty high. I’d rather cook than do anything else! That being said, finding wonderful prepared dinners was often challenging. Then we found Edible Underground. Their food is not only amazingly delicious, it’s creative & wonderfully paired with side dishes & scrumptious desserts.
